Types of Networking

Let’s define some of these terms and get down to the bottom of these logistics, that way we can have a better understanding of Networks and communication. So what is a WAN exactly, more specifically WAN Optimization? Well, a WAN or Wide Area Network consists of a is a computer network that covers a broad area (i.e., any network whose communications links cross metropolitan, regional, or national boundaries).

WAN Optimization improves and accelerates application performance across the wide-area network (WAN), providing for more Network Reliability. MPLS Networks, which are components of a WAN, are mechanisms in high-performance telecommunications networks which direct and carry data from one network to the next more efficiently. MPLS Networks and Bandwidth Management, Specifically Bandwidth Optimization is generally related and connected to the WAN as well as networking in general.

The Bandwidth Optimization component of Bandwidth Management work side by side with MPL Networks to successfully deliver the amount of data transferred to or from the website server or network within a prescribed period of time for the convenience of the network end user. Network Reliability relies heavily on both Bandwidth Management and Bandwidth Optimization to successfully execute a proficient WAN. Therefore in retrospect, Wan Optimization is terms of Network Reliability go hand in hand due to the nature of our society and need to connectivity and convenience. It is aIl is about making machines more fathomable and more under the control of human beings, not less.

Conventional technology has indeed been making our environment more complex and more incomprehensible and if it continues as it is doing now the only conceivable outcome is disaster. With the many networks that structure our day to day activities, in our jobs, in our homes, in the world, etc. Getting a grasp on this technology and having an understanding of the crucial components that make up the world of cyberspace and network communication, we can then and only then appreciate its mastery.
